Sangeeth Cooray re-signs for 2027!

Club Captain, Reece Davies, said: "Sangeeth has had a huge impact on our team and the club since joining us. His quality and experience on the field are clear for everyone to see, but it's his commitment, attitude and desire to help those around him that make him such an important part of our team. We're delighted to have him back for 2027."

Club Chair, Chris Lowe, added: "Sangeeth's impact on Darwen Cricket Club goes far beyond his performances on the pitch. He has embraced our club, our members and our wider community, and has become a valued and respected member of the Darwen family. His contribution to our players, junior members and club culture has been fantastic, and we're absolutely delighted that he will continue to be part of our journey in 2027."

Sangeeth Cooray said: "I’m delighted to be re-signing with the club for another season. I’ve really enjoyed my time here and after a positive season, the decision to come back was an easy one.
